Mission:: Diaper Cake

I've been shopping and shopping for things to make the diaper cake for a baby shower I am going to Sunday. Last stop: Baby's R Us... This is a dangerous place for me. I have a hard time restraining myself.

I will post pictures of the process/finished product within the next couple of days!! I'm so excited! I got the idea from Kit over at A Step Into My Life :)

...that the sun is FINALLY shining

...that I get to look out my window and still see pretty snow (well it's crunchy, but looks pretty)

...that I was already off during the 2 snow days, so I didn't miss any work

...that NCIS was new last night and can't wait to watch it tonight

...that I finally watched Psych.. it is HILARIOUS

...that my LAST grad class started yesterday

...that I'm SO lucky to have such awesome family, boyfriend, friends, and co-workers

That's enough loving for today :) I could keep going. I just thought of some random things that I'm excited about. Sure there is plenty more, but I need to save some!

11 in 2011 - Day 11

Day 11 - LAST DAY :( - What are you Looking Froward to in 2011

1. Finishing Grad School February 21

2. Finding a Full Time Job (I'm not looking forward to the looking part)

3. Time spent with family and friends

4. Any potential vacations :)

5. Losing the rest of the weight to get to my goal/happy weight!

6. I'm just looking forward to what the new year has in store!

Miscellany Monday

1. SNOW SNOW SNOW


I bet the whole city of Atlanta is shut down. They closed schools, my mom is out of work, where I work is closed (although I was already off). It's so pretty :)

Zoe isn't so sure about the snow. Her paws kept getting stuck, so she'd do this funny wobble hop thing!

2. Homework

While everyone else is out of school, I take classes online, which means no snow day for me! I did however do most of my assignments last night in fear that we might lose power. So now I just have to take a quick(ish) final!

3. Charlie St. Cloud

Finally saw it. I loved it. It is so sad though! I kind of want to watch it again now that I know what's going on. It was also the first Blu Ray movie I've watched on my Blu Ray player I got for Christmas.

11 in 2011 - Day 10

Day 10 - Favorite Girls Night Activity

When I was in college my favorite thing was going to concerts in Atlanta, or well anywhere. My best friend/roomie and I would go to 2 or 3 a month, it was great!

I want to go to this thing called Canvas and Cocktails - you have a class for a specific painting and have cocktails while you do it. I bet those paintings turn out GREAT ;)

Day 9 - Favorite things to do on a cold day

This is SO fitting for today since we've gotten more snow than we've had in a very long time. We're at 3 inches. They are predicting it to get pretty bad with ice and what not. Luckily I am off tomorrow-Wednesday!

Day 7 - Favorite Memory of 2010

First it was transferring to a store closer to home, so I was only driving 20 minutes to work instead of an hour. I also got a good raise and gained a wonderful team of coworkers. It was so weird how it happened. I went shopping at Tanger Outlet and when I passed the BBW I told my boyfriend how HAPPY I would be if I worked there. Not even a week later my manager told me that they had an opening.

What I really enjoyed this summer were the numerous Braves games my boyfriend and I attended. I love live sports. I'm not a fan of watching them on TV (with the exception of soccer). Usually I'll go to maybe one game a year, but this year we went to about 4 or 5. We had the opportunity to be there when they retired the number of Tom Glavin. We were also there for the retiring of Bobby Cox. Being there for that was special. A lot of former players came back (including my favorite as a kid David Justice). Here are a couple of pictures:

I was also able to go whale watching for the first time while I visited my family in Maine. We went to Quebec and it was so much fun. It was freezing, but a blast!
