June 3.2010

3 miles yesterday at the gym!

Yes... I'm a BIT proud of myself. I did walk the majority of it, but ran occassionally. I finished in 50 minutes, which I must say is pretty good for just starting back at the gym LAST week! I varied the incline (5, 6, 7 and 9) I did not go below 5 except when warming up and cooling down.

Today's session was good, but not as awesome as yesterday. I walked for a mile and then did some strength exercises for my arms and core. I wish results could be seen quickly, but I know if I keep this up it will happen!

Tonight I have a graduation to go to, where I will have a piece of cake, but I will make sure it is small. I believe I deserve a reward for the awesome workouts I have been putting in... but it is only for this one occassion!
